Mauritius: Casela Nature Parks Entrance Ticket with Transfer

3.Casela Nature Parks Entrance Ticket with Transfer

★★★★★★★★★★4.0 · 14 reviews · 7 hours · from $255

Spend up to seven hours at Casela Nature Parks on Mauritius’s west coast, with private hotel transfers, park entry, an African Safari Truck Tour, Tulawaka Gold Coaster, aviary walk, and wildlife viewing. English or French-speaking drivers handle the ride. Extra rides, food, and drinks cost more.

“This activity feels like a tourist trap. The entrance ticket for the nature park (which is essentially a zoo) is only around 30 EUR, so the tour price is extremely overpriced. We completed the whole park in about 2.5 hours, including a 1-hour slow open-truck safari where you see some freely walking zebras, impalas and a few giraffes from a distance. If you still want to visit, I strongly recommend going on your own instead of booking this tour. The staff at the park are extremely friendly and helpful, and it’s very easy to manage everything yourself. For two people, we could have done the same experience for around 100–150…”

Guides such as Sadick tailor the day to your interests, though weather and road works can affect the schedule.

“The driver was friendly and the car was spotless. The trip was nice, but we had bad luck with the weather; it rained all day and was cold. We loved Chamarel, the boat shop, and the Rumeria, which was very pretty. We weren't able to enjoy the wonderful views during the rest of the trip because it was foggy, cold, and rainy. It's much better in good weather.”
